I need to use an aperture sight because of existing eye issues. I’ve debated the options, read your posts on other threads, wondered about if/how the tang sight interferes with hand placement and bolt operation.

Midway is running a sale right now for lke $27 you can get the bottom of the line williams sight that you need a screw driver to adjust elevation (NO knobs).

Installed the tallest skinner front sight - shot way low. Spent an enjoyable day at the range with a file & the handloads I plan on using.

网页2010年2月12日 · Here are a few pictures of one of my sights on a Winchester 1894. There is miles of room with the sight elevated, but it gets kinda cramped with the sight folded. I have huge hands and have no problems with laying my thumb along side the tang. It will become second nature in short order for you too. Hope this helps. Best regards. Wind
