These days the SRK is made in Japan and comes with either an AUS 8 blade (shown here), or the aforementioned San Mai III blade. San Mai III is Cold Steel’s proprietary laminated stainless steel featuring a VG1 core.

After that the "SRK" was on one side by itself, and the other side had 3 lines in much larger print: COLD STEEL, CARBON V, MADE IN USA.

网页2015年1月1日 · My SRK Carbon V was made by Camillus about 25 years ago or so... and as far as I know and it was indeed made in USA. I still use that very knife on certain outgoings and rate it very high when it comes to a survival knife.
