网页2004年5月7日 · I used Dynamat on the inside of the floor boards and firewall. Just the sun beading down on the dark firewall was hot as hell and the dynamat wasn't much cooler on the inside. I would say that the heat insulation value is not very good. At least on the product I was using and placing it on the inside, like you would anyway.

网页2013年10月30日 · The Lowes peel-n-seal roof patch is pretty good for that, and cheap. 2 layers should help a lot. For insulation, you want air pockets. So maybe a combination of the peel-n-seal and the Home Depot insulation stuff will get yoiu where you wanna be.

网页2022年1月18日 · Now to really deaden things, dynamat makes some stuff called dynaliner, its a non moisture holding foam, this is a great heat and extra sound deadener I did the doors in my 56 pickup with this stuff, its downright amazing that I can now talk too loud going down the freeway with the windows shut. I bought a wagon that has no thermal barrier on its roof, and you can feel the heat radiating off of it on a hot day, plus the A.C. struggles to keep up. Read up on thermal insulation and be sure to use it on your roof or you will regret it.

网页2012年6月29日 · The ceramic beads are going to give you more insulation from heat and not do much for sound. You need the hollow glass mirco spheres for sound deadening. It is the hollow inside that insulates from sound waves. That is why Lizard Skin has two products one for heat and one for sound. Can you order the hollow glass spheres from somewhere?
