Beautiful little town with very friendly people! Most everything was within walking distance. The history of Hot Springs is fascinating! Lynn C的完整评论

National Parks are treasures. This is one of the smaller ones I’ve visited, but it was definitely the most unique. Learning the history of the springs, and enjoying all the water and town had to offe… mitchsmith1的完整评论

I consider myself a national park buff, by no means an expert (26 of 63 visited). I absolutely hated this place. I really couldn't leave soon enough. The movie they showed in the welcome center ba… OlympicMike的完整评论

The springs themselves are capped and protected - there is no natural/outdoor place you can get into the springs. You can have a spring bath or swim in the indoor pools at the two open bathhouses, which are also spas - they pipe the spring water into these buildings. We did the indoor pools at Quapaw Bathhouse which do require a swimsuit. You can also get spa services and do private or couples baths. There is a fee for all of these services. There are fountains in the park where you can fill up bottles with the spring water for free.

Hi there all. We will be traveling to the area with our 3 year old. I see that she will not be allowed in any of the operating bath houses. Just wondering if there were any places in the area, within an hour or two, where we could get into a natural spring that would be warm but not too hot fir the little one?? Thanks

Sorry! I do not know the answer to this, but rangers with the Park Authority might know. I would touch base with the National Parks Authority and see what info they have. You also might check out Eureka Springs farther north in Arkansas which has hot springs. But first and foremost I would check with your pediatrician to see if there is any health-related reason for the ban on children in the hot springs. Good luck! Hope you are successful

Do they have bats that fly at dusk on bathhouse row? They had hundreds, of what appeared to be bats, flying in circles over one bathhouse. It was the coolest sight. But I haven’t seen anything about bats during my research about hot springs. Why isn’t this talked about? Or am I crazy and it was something else?
答:
We did not see any bats, but that doesn’t mean they’re not there. We have them where we live; depends on the season and humidity.
