MotoGP announced its provisional 2025 calendar with a record 22 Grands Prix across 18 countries and five continents. The season starts at the Thailand Grand Prix on Feb. 28 and finishes in Valencia on Nov.

At 22 races, 2025 will be the longest MotoGP season ever, although last year’s schedule was planned to have the same number of events. Currently, organisers see 22 races as the absolute limit for the series, as chief commercial officer Dan Rossomondo told BlackBook Motorsport that it’s “probably the top number we’ll get to”.
