(Gray News) - Pat Sajak now has a new trophy as a memento of his final season of “Wheel of Fortune.” Sajak won an Emmy for outstanding host for a game show for his final season as the show’s host. The award was presented during Saturday’s Creative Arts Emmys ceremony but Sajak was not there to accept his award, according to a CNN report.

With the win for his final season, Sajak earns his first Emmy in 26 years. He has been nominated 23 times and previously won the Daytime Emmy for outstanding game show host in 1993, 1997, and 1998.
