The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 gaming GPU will reportedly be available with 16GB and 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM, possibly with the same core spec.

A new report by a popular leaker suggests that the RTX 5080 could possibly come in two VRAM variants, but there is a catch.

While the latest rumors say the RTX 5080 will still only ahve 16GB of memory, Nvidia may offer a 24GB variant in the future. It's not the same as the canceled RTX 4080 12GB, as other specs would remain the same and instead the higher VRAM would come once GDDR7 manufacturers start producing 24Gb (3GB) memory ICs.
