Around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, a white Volvo veered into the bike lane in the 800 block of Gravenstein Highway and struck a man who’d been walking alongside his two small children as they rode their bikes, Sebastopol police Sgt. Mykael Thompson said Saturday.

Police said the vehicle was traveling southbound on Cicero Avenue at the time of the crash and then continued to flee southbound from the scene afterward.

Law enforcement is searching for the driver of an electric scooter who struck an elderly man on a sidewalk in Koreatown.
