A man who died after being hit by a vehicle while jogging in the Money Hill subdivision in St. Tammany Parish on Monday has been identified as Ralph Reimer, 74.

A male jogger died Monday (Sept. 16) after being struck by a truck in Abita Springs, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office said. The victim’s identity and age were not disclosed by the agency. The sheriff’s office said deputies were dispatched to Money Hill Parkway shortly after 8:30 a.

The Sheriff’s Office did not immediately release the man’s name, but indicated that he was a white male in his 70s.
