It’s time to return to the beach as a new season of CBS’s hit reality show Survivor returns for the 47th time. Host Jeff Probst welcomes 18 new castaways to the gorgeous sandy beaches of Fiji as they embark on the journey yet again to see who can outwit, outplay and outlast the others.

Former Obama speechwriter and "Pod Save America" host Jon Lovett is one of the 18 cast members competing on Season 47 of "Survivor."

Kyle Rhen Ostwald, a 31-year-old construction worker from Cheboygan, will be a castaway during Season 47 of "Survivor."

Survivor seasons in the new era have been filled with super-fan players, but what’s interesting is that the majority of those super-fan players only started watching the show during the pandemic, when they blew through all 40 seasons while trapped indoors in the early days of the Covid outbreak.

Survivor is one of the longest reality TV series out there, and the following seasons are its strongest ones.
